This site is about Chris Gray, Offensive Lineman for the Seattle Seahawks.  This site is in no way affiliated with the National Football League, the Seattle Seahawks, nor endorsed by Chris Gray.  It's simply a site put up by a fan who enjoys the sport of professional football and is dedicated to all of the hundreds of NFL players who sit in the shadows of the "stars".  Without these players, the stars would not shine.

Chris Gray falls into the "unsung hero" category.  2007 was Chris' 15th season in the NFL, having been drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 5th round of the 1993 draft out of Auburn University.  This is about all you will ever read about Chris on most pro sports web sites.  But there is so much more that goes unnoticed.

Chris saw limited action in his first two seasons with the Dolphins, but gradually became the starting right guard, protecting then future Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino.

After leaving the Dolphins in 1997, Chris spent one season with the Chicago Bears before going to the Seattle Seahawks in 1998 as a back up guard.  Soon into the 1998 season, injuries to the starters forced Chris into the lineup.  He has not missed a regular season start since, setting the Seahawk Regular Season Starts record in 2005.  Chris has played every position on the offensive line including center.  He is also the backup long snapper.

The 2005 NFL season brought Chris and the Seattle Seahawks to the pinnacle of professional football:  The Super Bowl.  When one hears the "experts" talk about the 2005 Seahawks, they always mention Shaun Alexander, Matt Hasselbeck and the left side of the offensive line.  But could Shaun have set a new record for TDs (28) or rushed for over 1800 yards with just the left side of the line?  Probably not.

This page will have basic content description of the site and any changes that have been made.  The Biography page will outline Chris' playing career biography, from high school to the pros.

The Latest News page has two sections.  The left section will feature worthwhile articles that are not necessarily breaking news.  The center section will feature the latest news that involve Chris Gray and the Seattle Seahawks.
